REBEKA 2 is a continuation of the application REBEKA. This simulation program enables to assess the impairment of receiving water by urban drainage during wet weather.

Besides the impact by unionised ammonia and hydraulic stress REBEKA 2 allows to simulate impacts by total suspended solids (TSS).

The simulation is not only performed deterministically but also stochastically, i.e. the simulation is performed not only once but many times. For each run, parameter values (contributing area, reservoir constant, initial loss etc.) are randomly chosen from a distribution  (Monte-Carlo simulation).

The results of the simulation (number od critical events or critical percentage of time per year) are shown as cumulative propability curves. The program calculates the probability that a number of critical events or criticial percentage of time is not exceeded.
